VIP hospitality delivery
Creativity – innovation and problem solving
Brief:
Antin’s annual investor days are always unique. Based on the location of an asset, Exigent is tasked with comprehensive location research, looking for the ‘diamond in the rough’ – seeing potential and delivering value. These events are quirky yet professional, and we pride ourselves in thinking beyond the standard scope. We use our direct network of reliable suppliers for memorable lunches and dinners, working alongside the Antin team providing step-by-step support and guidance.
Solution:
Hamburg offered a special opportunity to utilise an artifact of maritime history. Using a museum ship in the port of Hamburg that had recently been restored as part of a “Youth in Work” project. Holding a conference for 100+ delegates on a decommissioned ship was a significant challenge, requiring a great deal of trust and creativity. Of course, we decided to up the ante, with delegates arriving and departing by boat.
Delivery:
Exigent make Antin’s delegates feel special through our careful co-ordination and facilitation of international travel, luggage management, and creative/time-critical movement between accommodations, conference, functions, and the asset site visit.
Using a large ship as our conferment setting was complex, from building the set (craning it in!), to dressing useable bathroom facilities, and creating memorable ‘branding’ such as illuminated tea chests and fenders. Aside from Exigent’s attention to detail and creativity, our ability to source dependable and suppliers directly, proved a considerable and cost-effective benefit.
Results:
Antin’s 2017 Investor Day was one of sheer disbelief, joy and awe. Arriving on the Hansahafen waters, to a decommissioned war ship, it was all the justification and gratification needed to see delegate’s faces turn swiftly from trepidation to admiration. Our work with Antin continues to evolve year on year, and we are extremely proud to be considered a vital cog in their incredible team.
